Fire, Raglan

Maori stone statues.
Iridescent sometimes.
Guardians of fire and wind.
And of volcanic isles.
From Raglan to Rotorua.
Duck hunting season's on...

Such beautiful land.
Carved by the elements.
And by history.
Air raid sirens of Te Awamutu.
Wails deep in the night.
As does, the ticking of time.
